Fountain pens

A month ago I started a bullet journal. In case you don’t know what it is, it’s basically a structured journal, but it can be as flexible as you are.

I’m logging my sleep, a few habbits, some tasks, some ideas, the weather… stuff like that. It’s not a fully formed habbit yet, but I think I’m getting there.

I started writing on a random journal (a Filofax notebook with removable pages) and a random black pencil. Then I told my brother that I’m journaling and I asked him about fountain pens (because he knows a lot about that) and he made me a gift: a Platinum demonstrator fountain pen. This opened the Pandora box 📦 for me and I started to look into fountain pens like crazy… Then I became crazy about inks. Then about different types of notebooks and paper types. Then I started to learn about cursive handwriting, watercolors, gouache and acrylic paints… Oh my!

Anyway, now I own 4 pens:

  • Kaweco Frosted Sport Natural Coconut (F nib)
  • Lamy Safari Umbra (F nib)
  • TWSBI ECO Black (F nib)
  • Platinum Balance (F nib)

So these are all the stores that I’m watching. They have fountain pens, inks and journals, etc, you can spend weeks browsing the catalog (all of them from Europe, alphabetical order):
